I help individuals
grow into who they are.

To step out of resistance to what is, to gracefully transition through the stages of life, to continually refine and deepen a sense of identity or belonging. Some specific circumstances I've helped individuals through include career development, aging and end of life, ADHD or attentional challenges, exploring gender identity and expression, and disability or chronic illness. As an artist myself, I also have ample experience working with creatives. Please note I do not typically work with adults under the age of 25.

I help couples become
legible to one another.

To remember who they are, to identify what they need, to deepen communication, to address the longing for connection and the need for safety, to heal ruptures, to regain intimacy and to navigate challenging situations. Some specific circumstances I've helped couples through include the decision to have children, adjusting to the demands of parenthood and navigating how they share the cognitive and physical load, adjusting back to the empty nest, relational discernment and all kinds of things in between. I also have experience helping partners make sense of discrepant cultural histories, norms, beliefs, or differences.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

Depending on the nature of what you are bringing through the door, I will pull creatively from a range of models that can help us make sense of things for you. I am in an ongoing process of curiosity, collaboration and exploration to find tools and strategies to assist clients. These are the approaches that root my work.

  • Gestalt Therapy is a complex relational model that provides a framework of present-centered awareness, profound respect, social responsibility and relationship. It provides the basis of how we will relate to each other in sessions.

  • EFT is a model that nurtures the roots of intimate relating. It strengthens the attachment bond through in session experiences and helps couples to deepen communication, collaboration and connection. It offers a clear path forward for couples in distress.

  • Contextual Therapy is a model grounded in relational ethics, fairness and loyalty. It provides a map for understanding intergenerational patterns. It supports healing and forgiveness within families and across the generations.

  • IFS is a model that offers a framework for making sense of the complex tensions at play within our minds. It provides a non-pathologizing, clearly structured, friendly approach to working with internal conflicts, fears and patterns.

  • I charge $225 for individual sessions and $250 for couples sessions.

  • Absolutely. In order for therapy to work, it’s very important that we be a good fit. I will gladly answer questions and give you a sense of how therapy with me will feel. I encourage people to meet with different therapists until they are clear and comfortable with their choice.

  • I currently offer both options:

Virtual sessions are available Tuesday through Friday.

In-person sessions are available on Wednesdays and Fridays at 1315 Walnut Street in Center City, Philadelphia.

  • I do not accept insurance. If your insurance provider covers out-of-network psychotherapy I can provide you with a Superbill that you can submit. Please be aware that insurance plans all have differing deductibles, rates and reimbursement percentages.

  • I maintain a set of sliding fee slots to expand accessibility to both individual and couples therapy. If this is something you need, please feel free to ask me during the initial consultation (or at any time during your work with me). We will discuss what is available and your need.

  • I require 24 hours notice for session cancellation to avoid paying the full fee for the missed appointment.
